Processing Charges

The International Journal of Social Science (IJSS) operates under an open-access model, ensuring that published research is freely available to the global academic community. To cover editorial, peer review, and publication costs, authors must pay an Article Processing Charge (APC).

1. Article Processing Charge (APC)

- The APC covers editorial processing, peer review, formatting, online hosting, and maintenance.
- The charge varies based on manuscript type and length. Authors will be notified of the exact fee upon manuscript acceptance.
- Payment must be completed before the article is officially published.

2. Waiver and Discounts

- The journal offers partial or complete waivers for authors from low-income countries, subject to approval.
- Discounts for high-quality research contributions or authors with institutional funding constraints may be granted.
- Requests for waivers must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission.

3. Payment Process

- Upon acceptance, authors will receive an invoice with payment instructions.
- Payment can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.
- A receipt will be issued upon successful payment, confirming the processing of the article.

4. Refund Policy

- APC payments are non-refundable once the publication process has begun.
- Refunds will only be considered in cases of withdrawal before peer review or if the journal cannot publish the article.
