The International Journal of Social Science (IJSS) is committed to ensuring the integrity and originality of all submitted manuscripts. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited, and all manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism detection before consideration for publication.

1. Definition of Plagiarism

- Plagiarism is using someone else's work, ideas, or words without proper citation and acknowledgement.
- This includes verbatim copying, paraphrasing without credit, self-plagiarism (duplicate submission), and inappropriate referencing.

2. Plagiarism Limit

- The maximum similarity index allowed is 20%, as checked by plagiarism detection software.
- Any manuscript exceeding this limit will be returned to the author for revision or rejected outright.

3. Plagiarism Detection Process

- All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection tools before the peer review.
- Authors are encouraged to check their work using reliable plagiarism detection software before submission.
- If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be subject to correction or retraction.

4. Consequences of Plagiarism

- Manuscripts found with plagiarism exceeding the allowed limit will be returned for proper citation and revision.
- Severe cases of plagiarism, including full-paper duplication or fraudulent misrepresentation, will lead to rejection and blacklisting of the authors.
- If plagiarism is identified post-publication, the article may be retracted, and an official notice will be issued.

5. Author Responsibilities

- Authors must ensure their submission is free from plagiarism before submission.
- Proper citations and acknowledgements should be included for all referenced materials.
- Authors should not submit the same research to multiple journals simultaneously.
