The International Journal of Automotive & Transportation Engineering (IJATE) upholds high ethical standards in research publication. Authors submitting their work to IJATE are entitled to specific rights while also bearing significant responsibilities to ensure academic integrity and transparency.

Authors submitting to IJATE retain the following rights:

  • Copyright Ownership: Authors maintain copyright of their work under a Creative Commons License (if applicable) while granting IJATE the right to publish and distribute it.
  • Reproduction & Sharing: Authors can share their published work on personal websites, institutional repositories, and academic platforms with proper citation.
  • Commercial Use & Adaptation: Authors may use their work for academic and educational purposes, including lectures, conferences, and derivative research, provided IJATE is credited.
  • Post-Publication Corrections: Authors can request corrections for significant errors or inaccuracies in their published articles.

2. Author's Responsibilities

Authors submitting to IJATE are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

  • Originality & Plagiarism: Submitted manuscripts must be original, with proper citations for all referenced works. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
  • Authorship & Contributions: All listed authors must have made a substantial intellectual contribution to the research. Individuals who have not contributed significantly should not be included as authors.

  • Timely Review & Communication: Authors should respond promptly to editorial requests, including revisions and proof corrections, and notify the journal if they withdraw their manuscript.

3. Retractions and Ethical Violations

IJATE reserves the right to retract articles in cases of proven ethical violations, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or serious errors. A retraction notice will be issued to maintain transparency in academic publishing.
