Publication Ethics

The International Journal of Mathematics, Statistics & Data Analytics is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in research and publishing. Authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

1. Duties of Authors

  • Authors must ensure that their work is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Proper acknowledgment of all sources and contributions must be given.
  • Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and will result in immediate rejection.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
  • Authors should provide access to raw data upon request and ensure that data is accurately presented.
  • Research involving human or animal subjects must comply with ethical guidelines and include appropriate approval documentation.

2. Duties of Reviewers

  • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript.
  • Reviews should be objective, constructive, and free from personal bias.
  • Reviewers should identify any relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
  • Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and reviewers should decline to review manuscripts in which they have conflicts.

3. Duties of Editors

  • Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased peer review process.
  • Editors have full responsibility for deciding which manuscripts are accepted or rejected based on their significance, originality, and relevance to the journal.
  • Editors should maintain confidentiality and not disclose information about submitted manuscripts to unauthorized parties.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed and managed appropriately.
  • Editors should take appropriate action if ethical concerns arise regarding a submitted or published paper.

4. Plagiarism and Misconduct

The journal strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and duplicate submission. All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism detection screening. If misconduct is detected at any stage of the publication process, appropriate action will be taken, including retraction or correction of published work.

5. Conflict of Interest Policy

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of the work. Any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may affect the integrity of the research must be reported.

6. Retraction and Corrections

The journal reserves the right to retract or correct articles in cases of serious ethical violations, errors, or misleading information. Authors may request corrections if errors are discovered post-publication.

7. Ethical Oversight

The journal follows international ethical guidelines, including those set by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). The editorial board ensures adherence to ethical publishing standards.
