Author Guidelines – International Journal of Economics Sustainable and Management (IJEM)

The International Journal of Economics Sustainable and Management (IJESM) is a peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality research in economics and management. We invite authors worldwide to submit their original, high-impact research articles contributing to theoretical and practical advancements.

1. Scope of the Journal

IJEM accepts articles in the following research areas:

  • Economics: Macroeconomics, microeconomics, financial economics, development economics, behavioural economics, and international trade.
  • Management: Business strategy, organizational behaviour, marketing, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, and corporate governance.
  • Interdisciplinary Studies: Sustainability, digital transformation, innovation management, and public policy.

Only original, unpublished, and high-impact research will be considered.

2. Manuscript Submission

2.1 General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English and proofread for clarity and grammar.
  • Submit the manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) file using the journal’s official template.
  • The submission must not be considered by any other journal.
  • Authors must comply with ethical guidelines (no plagiarism, proper citations, and conflict of interest disclosure).

2.2 Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced.
  • Margins: 1-inch on all sides.
  • Title Page: Include the article title, author(s) full names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s email.
  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words summarizing the research, methodology, findings, and contributions.
  • Keywords: 3-6 keywords separated by commas.
  • Main Text Sections: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

3. Peer Review Process

  • All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review.
  • The review process typically takes 6-8 weeks.
  • Authors may be required to revise and resubmit based on reviewers’ comments.

4. Plagiarism Policy

  • Maximum similarity index allowed: 20% (Turnitin or iThenticate check).
  • Direct quotations must be within quotation marks and properly cited.
  • Self-plagiarism is not allowed.

5. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • Standard APC: $250 - $350 per accepted article.
  • No submission fee is required.
  • Payment details will be provided upon acceptance.

6. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure that the research adheres to ethical standards.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • Obtain necessary permissions for data, images, and third-party content.

7. Submission Procedure

  • Prepare the manuscript using the IJEM template.
  • Check for plagiarism and ensure compliance with formatting guidelines.
  • Submit via the IJEM online submission system: IJEM Submission Portal
  • Await editorial decision and peer review feedback.
  • If accepted, make necessary revisions and finalize the APC payment.
  • The article will be published in an open-access format upon acceptance.
